"Three Baltimore media professionals from different disciplines are melding their expertise and experience to launch a new online news site this spring that will mix professional and citizen journalism. The goal is a more "comprehensive understanding of what's going on in the city." So says the interactive brains of the trio--Sean Carton, chief strategy officer for Charm City online consultancy idfive."
"At Baltimore online marketing firm Idfive, the company has hired six interactive marketing experts in the past six months. The company now employs about 15, said Sean Carton, chief strategy officer."
"Prospective students are becoming more selective when making the choice which college they want to attend, said Sean Carton, chief strategy officer for Idfive, a Baltimore startup Web development firm.
Carton, who is bidding on the UMBC contract, said the way a university represents itself is key to obtaining new enrollees. Students want to go to a school with state of the art facilities and new student centers, he said."
"'For advertisers, a major attraction of the massive multiplayer online games, in which interaction among players is integral to winning, is that it holds the full attention of players over long periods of time,' said Sean Carton, the chief strategy officer at idfive, a communications consulting firm based in Baltimore.
'Players quickly become emotionally invested in a game when they meet and interact with other people,' Sean Carton said. 'I have never heard of any previous consumer company creating a multiplayer game, and I imagine it will certainly pay off better than television for the young audience.'"
"With a national reputation as an Internet visionary, Sean Carton is the author of numerous books, including 'The Dot.Bomb Survival Guide.'"

Before people become criminals or cops, before people become CEO’s or consumer advocates, people start out as people. People with minds. With hearts. With souls. People with dreams, and hopes, and fears.
People.
It’s easy to forget that. With all we can learn from neuroscience and psychographic profiling, with all the latest information at our disposal, with race and age and gender bias slanting our perspective, it’s easy to forget that. But remembering this universal truth is central to Linder and Associates philosophy.
