When it comes to providing information, building communities, or generating awareness about health-related issues, the web has become one of the world’s primary sources of healthcare information.
Since the beginning, idfive has worked with a variety of healthcare organizations including hospitals, foundations, and associations to create web sites and online communities in order to raise awareness about health issues or bring people together to share information and support around those healthcare issues.
From innovative fundraising tools that help match donors with programs that need support, to online social networks for patients, to wikis that allow patients and caregivers to share information -- idfive’s creative approach has helped transform a wide range of healthcare organizations.
CFPAF
CFPAF was in need of a separate site from that of the main foundation's. The main foundation site focuses information on the condition itself and philanthropy to the foundation. Patients who have already been diagnosed are looking for answers for “what to do next”. The patient assistance foundation is all about ways to obtain help for patients with cystic fibrosis.
PneumoADIP
A Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation funded organization with a mission to reduce the incidence of childhood pneumonia throughout the world through the distribution of information about the problem.
Sheppard Pratt
Sheppard Pratt Health System is one of the largest and leading psychiatric institutions in the country. Consequently, the main Sheppard Pratt site is filled with information and must appeal to and answer the needs of their broad range of audiences.
Vaccinogen
As a biotech firm in final translational development for a revolutionary colon cancer vaccine, Vaccinogen came to idfive because it needed to be able to communicate the value of its product to the investment community. Obtaining FDA approval for any pharmaceutical product can be both time-consuming and expensive, requiring years of clinical trials and extensive ongoing research before the product is approved.
